Joining a space<\/summary>\n

In the Menu Arbeitsr\u00e4ume<\/strong>, choose the category of the space you are looking to join. An overview of all spaces in that category will appear. Click on the space you wish to join and in the sidebar, click on Join this Space<\/strong>. You can find an overview of all the spaces you joined in the top menu under Spaces<\/strong> \u279d Meine Spaces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a space<\/summary>\n

To create a space, head over to Spaces <\/strong>in the top menu bar and select Einen<\/strong> Space erstellen<\/strong> (Create a space). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, you can set the space’s name, slug and description. The space category will allow others to quickly find your space and is required.\u200c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to set up the space before anybody else can join or see the space, it’s best to leave the space private first and change the option later to open it to the spaces community. When you have finished setting up the space, you can open the space to the community, allow self registration for others to participate in your space on their own – or simply keep the space private and only invite certain people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changing privacy settings<\/summary>\n

You can change the privacy settings of your space to determine who can see or participate in a space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Einstellungen <\/strong>(Settings) tab, you can determine if the spaces community can view or participate in your space, can choose to join your space of their own accord, or whether they have to be added manually by an admin. Each option, when selected, gives more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inviting space members<\/summary>\n

You can invite others spaces members to join your space. In case your space is private, this is the only way to add other members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you navigate to the Members<\/strong> tab in the sidebar, using the search bar, you can find and add any user. After selecting the users, you can change their role in the drop-down menu. Click on \u201cchange\u201d to save the setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Member roles<\/summary>\n

You can assign the members of your space different roles. There are three roles to choose from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
