The new homepage offers a communication space for members of a specific learning community. A single homepage for the entire TH K\u00f6ln is too large and doesn’t promote community building. Therefore interconnected „Lerncommunties“ were formed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

A learning community consists of members of a specific area (teachers, students, faculty or institute organisers). The creation of learning communities is oriented towards the degree programmes, faculties and individual institutes in order to form a interconnected learning community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The community to which you have been assigned is displayed on the homepage. The communities can be found above the „Write a post“ function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students <\/em>are automatically assigned to a suitable learning community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers <\/em>must assign themselves to the appropriate „Lerncommunity“ via the setting „Profil editieren“ under „Mein Profil“. If you are active in another faculty \/ other interdisciplinary contexts, you can assign yourself to other „Lerncommunities“ via your profile as well. Click on „Mein Profil“ to edit your profile and add further communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

If you cannot find your learning community in the drop-down menu in your profile, it is probably not displayed. Simply enter the first letters of your community to display it. For example, L for library. Please note that all communities are usually named in German.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

On the new homepage posts will be seen by all members of the „Lerncommunity“. Use „Schreibe einen Beitrag…“ if you want to add a post. If you are part of several communities, the post will be published in all communities. If you only want to publish a post in one community, all other communities must be deselected in the your profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The self-created spaces are independent of the new homepage and remain the same in their functionality.
